I'm Walking 35km to Cure Mito in The Bloody Long Walk!
I am walking 35km for My beautiful son Kye has a mitochondria disease called Leigh’s disease. Leigh disease affects his ability to create energy for all his cells and organs to thrive. This disease is a rare genetic condition that causes rapid deterioration of body functions. The average life expectancy for this condition is 2-3 years. There is no cure and we hope that one day there will be. We feel so helpless knowing what we know but we want to do something. This is where we get involved and support The Bloody Long Walk, an event that supports the Mito Foundation.
My 35km walk will be bloody tough, but with your support, I know I can do it.
THANK YOU!
