We're walking 35km to Cure Mito in The Bloody Long Walk!
We’re walking in loving memory of our beautiful daughter Rose, who died from mitochondrial disease nine years ago. She faced her illness with extraordinary courage and determination, and her strength continues to inspire us every day.
Before she died—just a few days shy of her 30th birthday—we promised Rose we would do everything we could to help find a cure. Although time ran out for her, our commitment to that promise has never faded.
We walk to honour Rose’s legacy, to support those still living with this devastating disease, and to help fund the research that will one day lead to a cure.
