We're walking 35km in honour of Roman Sorrenti
Our team is walking to honour Roman, who lost his fight to mitochondrial disease, I will be taking on the challenge of walking 35 km from Carrick Hill to Glenelg for the third consecutive year.
Roman was diagnosed with POLG disease, a genetic mitochondrial disorder that robs the body's cells of the energy they need to function, leading to progressive multi-organ failure. Despite the devastating impact of mitochondrial disease, we are yet to find a cure.
Thank you for supporting me, honouring Roman's memory, and giving hope to families facing this devastating disease. Every donation makes a difference. All donations are tax deductible ❤️❤️❤️
