I am walking 35km to cure mito

I'm Walking 35km to Cure Mito in The Bloody Long Walk!

Iโ€™m taking on The Bloody Long Walk again, walking 35km to help raise money for Australians living with mitochondrial disease (mito). ๐Ÿ’š

This will be my second time doing the 35km walk. Last time, I definitely underestimated just how tough it would be - I could barely walk the next day and even managed to lose four toenails thanks to wearing the wrong shoes! Safe to say, Iโ€™ll be a little better prepared this time. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But as tough as 35km and around 46,200 steps in one day will be, itโ€™s nothing compared to what people living with mitochondrial disease can face every single day.

Mito is a debilitating genetic disorder that prevents the bodyโ€™s cells from producing the energy they need. It can affect multiple organs, can strike at any age, and currently has no cure.

Iโ€™m very happy to be taking on the challenge again this year and getting behind such an important cause for a second time.

Iโ€™d really appreciate your support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund vital research into treatments and ultimately a cure for mito.

The 35km is going to be bloody tough again, but hopefully this time Iโ€™ll make it across the finish line with all 10 toenails still attached! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Thank you for supporting me! ๐Ÿ’š
