We're walking 35km in The Bloody Long Walk!
The last few years hav taught me not to take good health for granted.
So when the chance came to walk 35km for people living with mitochondrial disease, I thought…
“Bloody hell… that’s far.”
Then I signed up anyway.
In October, Michelle and I will spend the day putting one foot in front of the other to raise money for research into mito, a disease that robs people of the energy most of us never think twice about.
Our aching feet will recover in a day or two.
People living with mito don’t get that luxury.
If you’d like to cheer us on, the best way is with a donation. Every dollar helps fund research and brings hope to families affected by this devastating disease.
Thank you for backing us. We’ll be thinking of you somewhere around kilometre 28… wondering why we thought this was a good idea. ❤️
P.S. There will be bubbles at the finish. They’ve been earned. 🥂
