I’m walking 35km in The Bloody Long Walk. That’s 46,200 steps in one day!
I'm walking 35km in The Bloody Long Walk to help Australians, like my beautiful grandaughter Maeve, living with mitochondrial disease.
Maeve was diagnsed with Mito disease just over 18 months ago. Our family was devastated to learn about mito and her future.
In this time Maeve has grown to become the most beautiful and loving child.... progressing slowly but surely with so much enthusiasm and love for life.
Mito robs her little body of energy, which will eventually cause organ dysfunction or failure. It can affect anyone at any age.
Please sponsor my walk to fund research into desperately needed treatments and cures for this devastating disease, not just for Maeve, but for all Australians living with it.
Every dollar will make a difference!
