Mitochondrial disease is a debilitating condition that affects the body's ability to produce energy at a cellular level. This can lead to multiple organ dysfunction or failure. It's like having a power outage, but instead of a building, it's your entire body that's affected. Mito can strike anyone at any age, often with devastating consequences.
